Poetry & Music Project Virtual Concert
On Sunday morning, we premiered 6 pieces by composers Matt Browne and Frances Pollock with words by Nebraska K-12 poets, created as part of the Poetry & Music Project. The virtual concert was hosted by Nebraska State Poet Matt Mason, and featured performances by our Holland Community Opera Fellows accompanied by Head of Music Sean Kelly on piano.

Virtual Prelude Talk: Lucia di Lammermoor
Last week’s Virtual Prelude Talk on Friday, presented by Gabriel Preisser, Executive Director and Grant Preisser, Artistic Director of Opera Orlando, dove deep into Donizetti’s tragic opera Lucia di Lammermoor, in a production from The Met Opera starring the inimitable Dame Joan Sutherland which was broadcast live on November 13, 1982.
