Exhibition Overview

Home, Community, and Sense of Place is an exhibition that explores the deep and often complex connections between belonging and the idea of home. Artists are invited to reflect on how individuals and communities experience, construct, and define place. What does home look like for you—or in what landscape do you feel most grounded? How do communities form, adapt, and sustain themselves? What happens when that sense of belonging is challenged, fractured, or transformed?

This exhibition welcomes works that celebrate the warmth and familiarity of home as well as works that consider cultural memory and the dynamic processes of community-building. By inviting a broad spectrum of artistic voices and forms, Home, Community, and Sense of Place aims to uplift diverse lived experiences while highlighting the universal human need for connection.
