More Information
Guide to the Opera
Is this your first time attending an opera? If you're new to a certain performance, or just want to come prepared, it's great to read a synopsis or attend the pre-performance lecture prior to the show. Also, we don't expect you to learn a new language for the performance. All performances will have Spanish and english supertitles projected above the stage so you can follow along. Click here for a helpful information about the opera experience including suggestions on what to wear, when to arrive and about the orchestra.
In what language will El último sueño de Frida y Diego be presented?
The opera will be sung in Spanish, the original language in which it was written. Spanish and english supertitles will be available on a screen above the stage and in the front of the Loge.
Are there lighting or sound elements I should be aware of?
There will be theatrical lighting elements for this performance. The singers do not use microphones, just their natural voices projecting from the stage.
