The entire exhibit is available to view at the Joslyn Castle Carriage House now through Feb. 11.

More Information
Guide to the Opera
Is this your first time attending an opera? If you're new to a certain performance, or just want to come prepared, it's great to read a synopsis or attend the pre-performance lecture prior to the show. Also, we don't expect you to learn a new language for the performance. All performances will have english supertitles projected above the stage so you can follow along. Click here for a helpful information about the opera experience including suggestions on what to wear, when to arrive and about the orchestra.
In what language will The Rake’s Progress be presented?
The opera will be sung in English, the original language in which it was written. English supertitles will be available on a screen above the stage and in the front of the Loge.
Are there lighting or sound elements I should be aware of?
There will be theatrical lighting elements for this performance. The singers do not use microphones, just their natural voices projecting from the stage.
