Opera Omaha joins Ireland’s Wexford Festival Opera for a striking new production of this dark chapter of Greek mythology by the renowned actor and director, Fiona Shaw. Medea is the powerful woman who enables Jason of the Argonauts to steal the magical golden fleece. His subsequent betrayal triggers a horrifying act of revenge as Medea destroys everything – and everyone – that binds them.
