Opera Omaha brings aspects of grand opera to an intimate setting with a new production of this work—a shortened, reinterpreted and rearranged version of Georges Bizet’s famous opera, Carmen. Created by the avant garde director, Peter Brook, who used Bizet’s music—but not all of it—this version of Carmen was designed to help audiences see and hear this tragic story in a new and more immediate way
Co-production with the Young Artist Studio of Florida Grand Opera
